Look I'm all for stepping up on a soapbox and giving opinions on how CS are broken, but you don't gotta throw around harmful blanket statements and act like you know (in intimate detail) tons of other CS owners and the reasons behind their actions. You don't know me, you don't know my friends, you don't know how or why we run our business. The most you could EVER know is one sided stories from a biased party, with hand-picked screens to remove any context there was (if you're lucky enough to even get those).

You're stoking a fire of fear, assumptions, and misunderstandings that's just going to turn the community into even more of a shitstorm. You think people are scared? Yea, it's really going to help convincing people most CS owners (except you of course uwu so special and different!!) are some assholes who has no rhyme or reason to their rules besides some thirst to scare and control others.

Look I'm not gonna assume I know people (unlike some) and say no CS owner is like that and none ever were, because I'd be wrong, there are always bad eggs out there in any community. But I make no stretch of the imagination when I say most CS owners are just people that do what they believe is best for their business, community, and community members. You have to remember that we're not some big corporation with a PR team, we're just people and many of us work on our own, so mistakes and misunderstandings are always going to happen. Making a community that fills the needs of every member and runs smoothly with as few issues as possible is extremely hard, but that doesn't mean we aren't trying. We're not just some assholes who want to scare and control you like some would lead you to believe.

I won't speak on behalf of other CS owners but please, if something in my rules or how I handle a situation bothers you, please just talk to me about it. I know it's really intimidating because of the power difference, but I promise I'm never going to kick you out just because you want to know about or debate a rule, or talk about something that happened. I can't guarantee that I'll agree with you and change any rules or processes, but I'm always open to considering/thinking deeply abut these sorts of things, because I genuinely want my community to be as enjoyable as possible for the members in it. I understand if some of you lose patience with me, but I promise I'm trying my best to improve things.

Anyways I should clarify that while I am salty right now at others actions, I don't hate anyone really. I know it probably comes off that way and believe me or not but there it is. I may be talking back to some people on here's godking but someone needed to say it.

I'm not gonna lie I'm really drained from writing this and just having a crappy day so far, so I'm probably not gonna answer comments for a while, I'm sorry.
I hope you guys are havin a good day though, or it gets better for ya.
Peace.

I understand most of where this comes from and what it means, and to an extent I am in agreement.

But there's one thing that confuses me. What do you mean by "power difference?" I never saw CS owners as having power over anyone, they just have a way they prefer their IP being used, which is just a matter of respect. calling it a power difference mostly just adds intimidation rather than removing it. Would just appreciate clarification because that comes across as pretty awkward/scary wording
