Eyes

A fumi's eyes generally have a white or discolored sclera, two rings of color in the iris, and may have eyelashes or a dark outline around the upper eyelid. They come with fully functioning nictating membranes (third eyelid) that help clear the eyes of debris, which is also translucent and tinted with the fumi's aether/blood color. Their eyes also (almost) always contain the fumi's aether/blood color, either in the pupil, iris, or sclera.

Fumi pupils come in a variety of shapes, some of which are more difficult to reproduce than others. In the fan horoscope, the pupils symbolize perspectives/outlooks.

Regular

Pupil types and other optical features that occur commonly, they don't require extra charge.

Typical (oval)

Pupils with a horizontal oval shape. Considered to be the "classic" fumi pupil shape.
Symbolizes: Naivety

Hourglass

Pupils that are like rectangles with the middle squished inward.
Symbolizes: Wisdom

Heart

Pupils with a heart shape, they may curve up or down.
Symbolizes: Empathy

Tilde

Pupils with a squiggly shape that resembles a tilde.
Symbolizes: Apathy

U-Curve

Horizontally curved pupils in the shape of a u, they may curve up or down.
Symbolizes: Selflessness

Rectangle

Pupils with a horizontal rectangle shape.

Symbolizes: Selfishness

Extra (Regular)

Blindness

(example features the Lucky 8 pupil)
When a fumi's pupil is lighter in color than the iris around it, this indicates that the fumi is suffering from some degree of blindness. The lighter the pupil color is compared the the surrounding iris, the worse the fumi's eyesight is.

Colored Scleras
(example features the Hourglass pupil)
When a fumi's scleras (whites of the eye) are colored any color other than white or off-white. Fumis with this feature tend to suffer from insomnia, the severity of which is determined by how dark the color is.

Premium

Pupil types and other optical features that are difficult to produce or occur rarely, they cost extra.

Diamond

Pupils with a diamond shape.
Symbolizes: Optimism

Crescent

Pupils that are C shaped, the name comes from their crescent moon-like appearance.
Symbolizes: Pessimism

Lucky 8

Pupils that are like 2 perfect circles stuck together.

Symbolizes: Honesty

Jingle Bell

Pupils that are horizontal slits ending with circles at both ends.
Symbolizes: Deceit

Extra (Premium)

Heterochromia

(examples feature the Typical (oval) pupil)
Eyes whose iris colors don't match it's other eye's colors completely.

Ahh I just bought my first Fumi, and I'm having so much fun learning that his features mean different things! This species is so much more complex than I could have imagined, and I love it!
